I need: a cleansing rain, a week of silence, a pitcher of daiquiris all to myself, 3 out of body orgasms, speak now (Taylor’s version) with John mayer’s voicemails to Taylor included as skits, someone else to deep clean my house (including windows + window screens), to see the Barbie movie in theaters, to be carried from the car and placed into bed

Anonymous asked:

How did you decide what career path to pursue? I got a whole bachelor's in a "responsible" field that I've worked in for five years and I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in a related area, but oh my God, I'm tired and panicking (but not enough of the latter to be impulsive or irresponsible). Did you consider income and lifestyle over satisfaction or vice versa?

I am so sorry to report I went where the wind blew me and did not choose this at all. When I was just graduated from college it all seemed like bullshit to me and the most I hoped for was a job that did not stress me out too much. That’s still pretty much all I hope for, the highest ratio of pay to stress/effort.

If you have something that at all interests/motivates you when it comes to work/a “career”, I envy you and think that’s something worth pursuing. Even if it’s more difficult.
